Join us on Saturday April 8th, 2023 at the Martins Ferry Recreation Center , from 8am till 11am. This event is FREE to the public, although donations will be accepted. Pancake breakfast will be served.

SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

The Martins Ferry City Council will be having a special council meeting on Sunday September 18th at 6pm, in the Council Chambers. This meeting will be to consider the purchase of vehicles and is requested by the Mayor.


Street Paving to Start Monday September 19th

Starting Monday September 19, 2022 the City will start a big paving project. The paving will take place on 6th Street (Columbus Ave), 8th Street and 9th Street to St. Myers. This will include the top of 6th Street Hill to Mackey Ave and then from the N 9th Street to St. Myers and upper part of Heil Ave. There will be absolutely NO parking on the street while this project is being done. We apologize for the inconvenience during this time.


Major Water Break on St Rt 7 NB

The whole North end of town is without water due to a large water break on North bound 7. The water department is out fixing it, we do not have an ETA on when it will be fixed.



CELEBRATION IN THE PARK JULY 2, 2022

Come and join us for the city’s Celebration in the Park!!!

There will be food trucks, craft vendors, live music, FREE SWIM (starting at Noon), and Fireworks at Dusk.

Come and listen to DJ Daner starting at 11:00am.

New Age Adenas take the stage at 1:00pm.

Listen to Chuck Lucas playing guitar and singing at 3:30pm.

And to finish out the evening, The Crush Band, guaranteed to get you up dancing along, at 6:00pm.

DJ Daner will take the stage again at 9:00pm until dusk.

City Of Martins Ferry 4th of July Celebration

Join us in celebrating the 2nd Annual 4th of July Celebration in the City Park 11a – Dark. Fireworks will begin at dark. The pool will be open for no cost to the public that day.

Any food/craft vendors who would like to set up for the day please call 740-633-6151 or come into the City Building in the morning hours to speak with Administration.
