10am: Martins Ferry experienced a serious water break today in the early morning hours. The repair should be completed soon.
A 48 hour Boil Order has been issued for the entire City of Martins Ferry, once the water has been restored. This means that citizens should boil the water vigorously for one minute. Bring the water to a full, rolling boil, and then start timing.

During the months of February through May 2025, Regular Meetings of Martins Ferry City Council will be held on the First and Third Wednesdays beginning at 4:30 pm. Beginning in June 2025 the meetings will return to their usual start time of 6 PM.

There is a Boil Order in place for the residents of the 1500 block of N 7th Street and Kuckuck Lane from Monday 12/16/24 until notice that it has been lifted. For any questions contact the Water Dept. at 740-633-1378.

A 48 hour boil order is in effect for the South Ridge Drive and Overlook areas of Martins Ferry. This is due to a water break in the area, which has now been repaired.
